Big Ben
He mills large pieces of the the most beautiful wood i've ever seen. He is a wonderful soft spoken
guy despite his slightly intimidating size.

D800
So I finally got my D800, and the files are impressive. The 36 Megapixel censor does not disappoint. File size is big, but like every other upgrade in technology i'm sure i'll quickly forget the file size as it becomes the norm. This is just a simple studio shot at its normal output, which was origonally 24x17 at 300dpi. Below is a crop of the eye at 100%. Not to shabby.

Battenkill 2012
Had alot fun shooting the Mt Borah Cycling Team from team dinner the night before through the
Battenkill Pro UCI 1.2 race on sunday. Though race! The course has many dirt sections mixed into the course. It has been so dry in the northeast this winter the dust was unreal. Made me appreciate the durability and seals of my Nikon D3, which was covered in dust by the end as well.

Summer Kitchen
Photographed this great Summer kitchen the other day. What a great space!
It is made from an old Chicken Coop that was moved to its current location.
I can image it is a fun place to spend time over dinner on warm summer nights.
